Merci Beaucoup

This morning I had an “oh fuck” moment.  After three years of using “La Belle Nuage” it’s just been brought to my attention that it is incorrect.  Nuage (cloud) is a masculine word in French.  The correct usage would be the handsome cloud, Le Beau Nuage.  I thought about changing it.  I even contemplated the Italian version of the beautiful cloud, La Bella Nuvola. However, I’m going to make the executive decision and keep it as is.  La Belle Nuage is flawed. Well, so am I.  I know, I’m amazing (Duh!) But I cannot be perfect!  For all the Frenchies out there, my apologies.  For all the Americans who know jack about French,  welcome to La Belle Nuage! xxx

The Apple With The Brown Spot

I love my phone, but I hate AT&T.  I've have the iPhone 3GS.  It is my 3rd arm.  I can find the closest laundromat, calculate my cholesterol level, assign my boarding pass, but I can't make a friggin phone call.  AT&T provides the worst cellular "service."  When the iPhone 4 came out in June, a flock of new people signed up with AT&T.  My cell phone reception went from bad to abysmal.  It's vital that Apple's iPhone finds another network to team up with.  AT&T is not strong enough to provide the kind of service that millions of iPhone users need.  I hope the rumors are true.  I hope the iPhone 5 comes to Verzion.  I've heard it might happen sometime in January.  Fingers crossed.  I will switch to Verizon in a heartbeat.   I love technology.  I think that there are some really amazing things that are happening.   I'm disgruntled that Apple, one of the most profitable, cutting edge companies in the world, is in bed with the WORST phone company.  It's like when Angelina Jolie was married to Billy Bob Thorton.  It didn't make sense.  Then she hooked up with Brad Pitt and the world was whole again.  I've resorted to using skype a lot, and I've found this new wonderful application, similar to Ping, but much more user friendly.  It's called What's App.
I've been able to send a What's App text when my own SMS was down.  Check it out.  I've been able to text my friends overseas and it's freeeeee.  I love it when things are free.  Blackberry people can still have their beloved BBM and chat with iPhoners.  Granted,  I'm still on the old AT&T plan, so I still have unlimited data.
